Sales Development Representative (SDR)

In this role 

The SDR will be a critical member of the sales team and responsible for opening the door to new accounts and helping VistaXM expand our customer base. You will work hand in hand with the CRO, VP of Sales and account executives on targeting prospects, establishing initial contact and setting meetings for the sales team. You will use multiple methods and tools to reach these contacts and will deliver a positive first impression of VistaXM and our capabilities. This will be a remote position so you need to be highly motivated.

  • A person who has had experience in a sales environment and understands the importance of meeting and exceeding goals  
  • Works well with others and is constantly looking for ways to improve the process 

Responsibilities 

  • Reach out to new prospects and customers through email, LinkedIn and phone calls to coordinate sales calls for the team 
  • Document activity in VistaXM’s CRM to track activity and progress, supply reports as necessary to VistaXM management 
  • Work with the greater sales team to communicate status, help improve our messaging and process to achieve higher acceptance rates  
  • Help identify new prospects based on success with current sales efforts 
  • Ensure that prospects are left with a positive impression of VistaXM regardless of outcome to obtain a meeting 

Skills & Requirements 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications  
  • Has used LinkedIn and understands the power of social networking 
  • Familiarity with CRMs and is detail oriented to track activity levels inside of VistaXM’s tools 
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills 
  • Previous SDR or sales experience highly desired 
  • Ability to communicate value and sells solutions vs. products  
  • BS/BA degree or similar work experience preferred 

Compensation 

VistaXM offers a competitive compensation package which is dependent on previous experience and the ability to meet goals. There is a variable component to this position which provides an opportunity to significantly impact total compensation. VistaXM also provides a competitive benefits package.
