Account Executive (AE)

In this role 

The AE role reports to the CRO and is responsible for driving sales campaigns to closure to meet or exceed VistaXM’s sales targets. The successful candidate will have a hunter mentality as the role is focused on new account acquisition and growing VistaXM’s customer base. You will work with the CRO, SDR and other sales professionals to identify prospects, deliver compelling sales messaging and manage the customer through the sales process. An attention to detail and desire for constant improvement is required to help modify VistaXM’s sales material as needed and to share best practices with your peers.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to nimbly handle objections as they arise 
  • Loves to prospect, cold call and drive campaigns to reach new prospects and customers 
  • Someone with solution selling experience and is able to deliver compelling value messaging, experience selling  Customer Experience (CX) solutions is highly desired 
  • Comfort working and communicating with C-level executives 
  • A person who has worked in a startup or other lean business, we need people who want to solve problems without significant support staff or oversight 
  • Excellent time management skills  

Responsibilities 

  • Drive sales campaigns to a successful closure to grow VistaXM’s revenue & customer base 
  • Work with the SDR and other sales team members to identify new prospects to continuously increase VistaXM’s pipeline 
  • Educate yourself and be able to effectively communicate VistaXM’s value proposition and how we deliver that value to the customer 
  • Document activity in VistaXM’s CRM and report activity as required 
  • Assist with constantly improving VistaXM’s sales process by providing feedback on best practices, where we can improve and deliver customer feedback on the perceived strengths and weaknesses of our offering 
  • Work with partner organizations to help identify new opportunities 

Skills & Requirements 

  • 5+ years of solution selling, CX experience is highly desired  
  • Consistent record of overachieving sales targets & pipeline generation in a hunting role 
  • Proven ability to excel without significant support staff 
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills 
  • Great team player, loves to share best practices and help others grow 
  • BS/BA degree or similar work experience required 

Compensation 

VistaXM offers a competitive compensation package which is dependent on previous experience and the ability to meet goals. For those that overachieve on quota, there is significant upside earning capabilities. VistaXM also provides a competitive benefits package.
